Jake Gyllenhaal violently murders hipsters. I hate the term, “hipster.” God save us all.

Coming our way from the Pretty Effing Good Idea Department, the Dollar Shave Club offers men a compelling way to stay smooth and smiling. Subscribe on a blades-per-head basis and a monthly supply arrives at your door. We frequently walk around with beards hanging on our faces, but most of the time it is just because we forget to shave or don’t have fresh supplies of razors to use at the ready. So yeah, effing good idea.

The base razor (The Humble Twin) starts at $1 a month and has two blades. Moving up from there, The 4x gives you four blades for $6 and at $9, The Executive delivers six sharp, sharp edges. A handle comes free when you sign up, but if you’re still not convinced, listen to the president of Dollar Shave Club, Mike, make his pitch. Funny, funny stuff.

More work news! Well somewhat old since I’ve already worked with them in the past. Elm has given me the chance to design for them once again. To commemorate this spectacular event, they put two of my all-time favorite things together in a snap-back hat form. An Elm x Bear Mountain hat! Elm has always been an all-time favorite of yours? Ugh, obvy. Well, starting today and so-on. Or until I stop working for them. Heh. Hi, Alex and Dan.

Finally a work update… Ahh, yes. It’s kind of hard to show you my recent work because by the time it comes out, it’ll already be a year old. That’s the industry for ya! One of my new clients is a company you all know and love, Insomniac. You know: EDC, Audiotistic, White Wonderland, etc. I was given the opportunity to design a shirt for their upcoming event, Beyond Wonderland, which will be held next…next Saturday, March, 17, 2012. The graphic above is the front & back of the shirt and it will be on sale at the event and, I’m assuming, online. I will also be an attendee for this event, the perks of working for party company. Yay! So be sure to pick one up, at the event or online.

Congratulations to my all-time favorite anime, Naruto! Ahhhhh! This commemorates their 10 year anniversary. And what are their plans? They’re making a Naruto Theme Park! dsiofha;dhisf! I know, right?!?!?!?! Laguna Gamagori Marina Resort Complex has decided to team up with Shonen Jump’s Naruto for both of their 10 year anniversary. No photos have been released yet so I don’t know what to expect, either way, I don’t care. From a few blogs I’ve read, they’re transforming the resort, or a part of it, into Konoha Village. Yes, they will have the five Hokage monument, along with Naruto’s ramen shop, Ramen Ichiraku. There will be a ninja school as well, and you also get to receive a diploma. So better practice those shadow clones! “Kage bunshin no jutsu!.” The event starts Saturday, March 17th 2012 to Sunday, September 2nd, 2012. So book your flights now! You only have six months! Hopefully they’ll release some photos before the opening. They better. Or else. *Flying Thunder God Technique*
